How ExportPilot works
Short, plain-language guides for non-technical exporters. Jump to a section below.
Getting started
The golden path — do these four things in order and you have sent your first buyer email.
1. Connect your email
Go to Settings and connect your Gmail account. Emails are sent from your own address, so they land better and build your brand.
2. Find or import leads
Use Find Buyers to discover companies, or add buyers yourself in CRM Leads. Reviewed results become leads you can contact.
3. Send your first email
Open the Send Console, pick a template or write your message, and send to a ready lead. Each send passes the safety gates first.
4. Track opens and replies
The Dashboard shows what was sent, opened, clicked, and replied to, so you know what is working.
Outreach tools — which one to use
Five tools, one job each. Pick the one that matches what you want to do.
Templates
Reusable email content. Write it once and pick it anywhere you send.
Email Builder
Compose or AI-draft a single email, preview it, and save it as a template.
Send Console
Send approved CRM leads one gated email at a time — the safest way to reach out by hand.
Sequences
Automated multi-step follow-ups with a delay between each email. They stop automatically when a lead replies or unsubscribes.
Newsletter
One broadcast to many subscribers at once — for updates and announcements, not cold outreach.
Growth Autopilot
Autopilot runs your buyer discovery and outreach for you, on a schedule, within your plan's limits.
What it does
It finds new buyers, drafts emails that match each buyer, and queues them so you are always making progress without doing it by hand.
What happens when you run it
Depending on your chosen autonomy, drafts either wait for your approval or send automatically through the same safety gates. Nothing skips the gates.
How to read the results
The Autopilot dashboard shows what ran, what is pending your approval, and what was sent — approve or edit anything before it goes out.
Sending safely
ExportPilot protects your sender reputation so your emails keep reaching inboxes.
Warmup
New sending starts slow and increases over time. This teaches inbox providers that you are a real, trusted sender — turn it on when you connect a fresh mailbox.
Deliverability (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
These are three DNS records that prove your emails really come from you. Add them once and mailboxes trust you more. The Deliverability page checks them for you in plain language.
The safety gates
Every real send is checked against your suppression list, daily cap, warmup limits, and first-send rules before it leaves. Blocked sends are logged with the reason.
Why one email at a time
The Send Console sends a single gated email per action on purpose — it keeps you inside safe limits. For automated multi-step outreach, use Sequences instead.
Finding buyers
Three connected tools take you from a search to a named decision-maker you can email.
Buyer Discovery
Create a search job with your target, such as "sports goods importers USA". ExportPilot searches the web and collects company websites for you.
Website Checks
Discovered websites appear here for review. ExportPilot reads a few public pages and pulls out visible emails, decision-makers, and company signals.
Decision-maker finder
Where it is public, ExportPilot surfaces the person and email most likely to be the right contact — so you reach a human, not a generic inbox.
Country intelligence
Quick, practical background on a market before you spend time selling into it.
What it gives you
A plain-language brief on a country and product category: demand signals, buyer types, and things to watch when exporting there.
How to use it
Pick a country and product category, generate the brief, and use it to prioritise which markets and buyers to chase first.
